What cookies and similar storage are
Cookies are small files a website can save in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and requests to third-party services that may receive your IP address.
This draft explains cookies and similar technologies, and what a review of this website has found so far. A full technology audit is still needed before public launch.
Draft Pending legal, jurisdiction and data-processing review. Not yet a final legal document.

A review of this website's own code found no advertising or analytics tracking. The demo remembers your choices, such as acknowledgements and quiz answers, only while the page is open; they are not saved after you leave.
The booking and contact pages do not set cookies through our own code; your form details are sent to the website's database only when you submit. The private owner sign-in area stores a sign-in session in browser storage, which is strictly necessary for that area and is not used by public visitors.
Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives standard technical request information such as your IP address. The hosting provider may also set technical cookies or keep logs. These have not yet been fully audited.
We cannot yet state that the site sets no cookies at all, because hosting and third-party behaviour must be verified on the live domain. That audit will be completed before launch and this notice updated.
If analytics, an external calendar or booking service, or other optional tools are added, they will be disclosed here and, where required, will only run after you have given consent.
